Sunday Walks

Well as I said in the last post our Sunday walks have become tradition.  Chas brought his work camera home this weekend and so we actually could take some pictures.  Here is Ruby our little puppy, she is so fun and all the kids are loving her.  Emree will actually hold her now and acts like she has loved dogs her whole life.  Glad we started off with a puppy. Beckett loves her way too much and is not quite sure how careful he has to be, but she is getting faster and can now run away from him.  Smart dog! They love to play together most of the time.

And just a cute shot of Jo- Jo! Love this girl!
Beckett has become the master fit thrower, which is really trying my patience.  So Chas decided to take some pictures of his cute little crying face!!

Brooklyn's softball

We have loved watching Brookie play this year.  She is improving a lot and we are anxiously awaiting a hit off a real pitcher! She is now swinging, but hasn't quite connected yet.  Hopefully this week.  She can hit off the coach like a pro, so now to step it up a bit.  (After 4 balls the coach pitches until they have 3 strikes or hit.) And this year has been a lot warmer than past years!! YAY!!!

Well we have been really busy with softball and baseball games which happen every day of the week except Fridays.  Our camera has died once again, and will not charge, 2nd time it has happened since we bought it not even a year ago.  Frustrating! So no picture this time around either.  But there have been a couple of exciting things going on here besides baseball.  We got a puppy and she is sooo cute!  The kids are in love with her and  take good care of her.  Her name if Ruby.
Mothers Day weekend was great! Saturday the activity day girls put on a brunch for the Mothers and Daughters, which was a lot of fun.  I enjoyed spending some time with Brooklyn.  It was a really nice morning. We also went to the Huntsmans to help with the garden that we will be sharing with them this summer, although I am not much help, we are definitely getting the good end of the deal.  We appreciate their offer to share it with them since we will not be having one of our own this summer.  The kids made me a delicious breakfast with waffles, strawberries, whip cream, sausage and wouldn't let me come out of my room until everything was ready.  We went for a walk with Ruby out to the river  which has become our Sunday tradition, it's so fun to see Beckett running with the puppy right behind.
This weekend was the Father Son outing, the boys had fun, but said it was pretty cold. Us girls went to the park with some friends, then out to dinner, and ended the night with some Just Dance on the Wii, (the girls did not me!)
Today we went out to our new place cause Chas wanted to survey and plus its always nice to go out there and take in the peace and quiet.  I had a nice visit with Georgeanna, she is a good woman.  She gave me a Christmas card that my Great Grandma and Grandpa had sent to her Mom and Dad way back when.  My Dad is not even 1 in the picture, so that is pretty cool.  We all loved being out there, the kids just run and play and I got to sit on the porch swing and visit.  We have really been enjoying the beautiful weather and have spent most everyday outside.  I have found that if I don't do too much, I feel pretty good and my sciatic nerve hasn't been bothering me much.  I don't love being on a restricted work schedule, but I guess until this little guy comes I will have to take it a little easier than I am used to.  At the end of the day I am glad that I am not in pain, so it is worth it.  Anyway thats kind of what we have been up to, maybe someday I will add some pictures, but thought that I better write down whats going on before I forget.

Brooklyn or Emree?

Brooklyn or Emree?
Just thought you all might like to see how much Brooklyn and Emree look alike, its kind of scary actually! Especially that Emree wears all the clothes that Brooklyn used to wear, I better make sure I get the right name to the right picture in the scrapbooks...well photo albums anyway. This is Brooklyn when she was 10 months old!

My Pride and Joy!

My Pride and Joy!
Next to my kids this is my pride and joy, I love working in the garden! Chas likes it too, he doesn't have to weed! Actually he always takes care of the kids while I spend time there. It's so nice!

Funny Story 1

Well I haveto share this funny story about Brooklyn. There is a little girl in our primary who got her appendix out shortly after she was baptized and showed Brooklyn her scar, so here is Brooklyn's conversation with me the other day. Brooklyn: "Mom I don't think I want to get baptized." Me: "Why not?" Brook: "It's too scary." And I'm thinking she loves the water, what is the problem? Me: "Whats scary about it?" Brook: "I don't want to go to the hospital and be cut open after I am baptized." I started laughing!!! "You think everyone has to be cut open after they get baptized?" Brook: yes, Jenny did and she even showed me her scar. So I had to explain to her that that was not part of getting baptized, it just happened that it was close to the same time with Jenny. I thought it was so hilarious, you never know what your kids are actually thinking!!
