Easter and some randoms

Here is Emree practicig her t-ball skills, although I think t-ball is out of the question, we'll stick to coach pitch! She is getting pretty good though, she is hilarious to watch compete with the older two, she may be our most aggressive one yet. She makes this face when she runs that says, "you better get outta my way!" She is a hoot!
Brooklyn has probably read 25 books since school ended not even kidding, the kid LOVES to read and this is a snapshot of her doing her fave thing!

We had a great Easter, I took the kids to Riverside for the Huge easter egg hunt that the city does, it actaully was a lot of fun, I had heard that it was really crazy, but the kids had a great time. Then of course doing ours at home, this year we got to decorate eggs with the Long's they have become our adopted Grandparents!

Here is the only picture I have taken of the skirts I made the girls for Easter I will have to get some more and post them, they turned out pretty cute.

We ended the egg decorating night with some s'mores, yep we cooked them in the wood stove in the Living Room, it was too cold outside.

AS for the last post, Beckett is fine, never acted out of the ordinary which I am so grateful for, I was a little panicked I admit. But he is fine. Well this has been a good week and I have been able to get so much done with Janae here, it has been soooo nice! Got my Visiting teaching done. Her and I unloaded a whole truck full of compost into the garden, cleaned house, she just made some cinnamon rolls, it has been wonderful! My garden is looking great with all that nice black dirt and compost, now just to wait for the weather to get warmer so we can plant something in it! We are going to Boise tomorrow, to the temple and another dr. appt for Chas. It should be a fun weekend as well!

Baseball Parade

Baseball is a big deal around here. Opening Day they have a parade and then all the teams have at least one game on that same Saturday, it's pretty fun! Here is Brookyn walking in the baseball parade, she had a fun year and was glad she decided to try softball out, and because am terrible these are the only pictures have of her this year pathetic I know!!

Mother of the Year

Today I take the honors! Beckett drank half a bottle of finger nail polish remover!! while I was checking my email. What is it with this kid? He is going to be the death of me. Plus I had told Brooklyn at least 3 times last night to put it away when she was done with it, can anyone around here listen? don't think so. Driving me batty though. Plus side, my levels are down to zero, yay! No more drawing blood every week, just once a month from here on out, excited about that. Janae is here for the week, so glad she came over to see us. We all miss having her live here with us, it will be a good week. That is it in a nutshell today!

The joys of being a mother.

Last night Chas and I were talking, I told him thanks for going to work everyday, I couldn't. He said thanks for staying home, I couldn't do that either. So he said see we make a perfect match. BUT today I think I could go to work for the day anyway, let me tell you what my sweet little 2 year old did. We are in the middle of potty training, OH JOY, that in and of itself is always interesting, so he had an accident, but just a little bit so I stand him in front of the toilet on his stool and tell him to try and go more. He says, "Out Mom" so I sneek out the door, just outside so I can monitor him, he doesn't go, so I go in and try to get him down. "Out Mom" he says again, and he stand back up on the stool. So Icome into the kitchen to out the muffins in the oven and I hear a big crash, but he is not crying so I finish up what I am doing. Then he comes out with something all over his hand, what the heck???? What is that??? Yup you all know, poop! So I go in the bathroom it's all over the bathtub, ground into the rug and on the floor, plus there all little poop footprints all the way into the kitchen. And that my friends is included on the list of Joys of Being a Mother. Talk about gross, on the plus side, last time I had to clean up a major poop mess I was pregnant and throwing up in the bathtub while cleaning it out. So at least I didn't have to deal with that this morning as well. Happy Monday to ya'll!!
