All the family

So when everyone else finally got up there Dad and Mom had some work projects for us to do. We put in hardwood floor in mom's room, patched holes, painted and put up new trim. We painted the barn, built some doors and put new trim up out there too. It reminded me of all working together when we all lived at home, a lot gets done when there are a lot of hands helping. For some reason we have several pictures like this with Ezra and Aaron up in the bucket of the tractor, this time it was for painting the top of the barn. Looks like fun eh? Grandma got skirts and wands for all the little girls at the dollar store, here is Addie, I think she wore the skirt the whole day. She is so cute!

Of course we had to fit in a basketball game at the church. With all of us we can put together a pretty decent team. We had lots of fun playing and getting some exercise and there not even any injuries, probably a FIRST!

Then was the big day of the Gulbranson (cousins) vs. Gwilliam softball game, we lost terrible, but have the excuse that none have us have played in many a year and they all just finished their season playing together! We had a blast!!!! Thanks Gulbransons! Then we ended the night with a BBQ at Mom and Dads.

And an even better end to the night Kayla and Thomas announced their upcoming wedding!!! YEAH!! We are so excited! Thomas is a great guy!

Here is Tyanna with Beckett and Tacey, so cute!

Here Tacey is swimming with Grandpa, she LOVED the water and didn't even fuss at all.

Thanks to the Whiddens for letting us swim at their house, the pool was great and was so refreshing after it being so hot there.

Kayla and Thomas, how cute are they?

Baby blessing and other..

We knelt down for family prayer one night and this is how Brady was at the end of the prayer, fast asleep! That kid can fall asleep in seconds, he is HILARIOUS! I was so glad I was able to be there for little Rae-Rae's baby blessing, she is such a sweetheart and Tyanna and Ammon are great parents! Here are some pictures of that special day.

3 weeks in Canada

So we had an eventful 3 weeks up in Canada, boy do I love going back there to visit. Now that the kids are getting older they are enjoying it much more. IT is the middle of Sept. now and every time we get in the car to go somewhere, they ask if we can go to Canada. Somehow the 16 hour drive is too easily forgotten in their little minds. They can only remember the fun times they had, ALL of the cousins to play with, 1st cousins, 2nd cousins, and all kinds of things to do, that is how it should be, I wish I could forget the drive that easily! Really though the kids did great and we loved having Kayla and Thomas drive up there with us. It made it soooo much nicer for me just to be able to take care of the kids and not worry about driving. We got to visit with Grandma, the kids great grandma who is always such a hoot, she is such an amazing woman!!! Here they all are with her, I LOVE this picture!
One of the days we went out to Tyanna's place. Her and Ammon were running Heart Lake for my Uncle Mel, like 5000 acres or something like that. We went out for breakfast and then went 4-wheeling, which was soo fun! Kayla and Thomas had these two....

Tyanna and I had these 3.... Little Tacey is only 6 weeks old and she is cruising out on the 4 wheeler with us, gotta love it!!! She totally fell asleep and would only wake up when we stopped!

We stopped to say hi to Ammon and Janae for lunch so we took a shot of all of us posing in front of the loader.

Silly kids, having so much fun posing
We just coudln't get enough of all the open spaces and lack of rules and longs days of sunshine and berries to pick and 4 wheelers to ride and horses to ride, Man do I miss the summers up there!!!

Summer fun

Brooklyn loved having cousins older than her and had a blast playing with them only stopping to sleep, occasionally. Here are Colton and Taylor and her running through the sprinklers at Vovo's. Emree and Austin, these two are only two weeks apart, they are about as opposite as personalities can get! Austin is a character and just makes me tired watching him.

Chas and his "Chicken Coop"

Here is the crew we took down to Mandy's cabin, they all laid in the back and watched a movie on the way home. Emree, Taylor, Colton, Brooklyn, Brady. We also had Chas and I, Beckett, Mandy, Colby and Casen, it was a little crowded, but sooo fun!

Summer in Sanford

We went down to CO so we could see Chas' family, his grandpa and grandma in particular. We are so glad we mad it down there as his Grandpa passed away while we were up in Canada. (post to come soon) It was so good to see him and Chas got to visit with him while we were there. Here is a four generation picture of Grandpa Hutchins, Lynn, Chas, Brady and Beckett. I LOVE generation pictures, they are so special and I am so glad we got one of the boys! Chas and I riding at Cords cabin, don't mind my nice riding attire I did not bring anything with me and so had to make due, pathetic I know, I totally look like a city slicker! tennis shoes and all

Brady grew leaps and bounds this summer in regards to conquering his fear of animals! HOORAY!!! he actually got on the horse, rode it and even said he liked it. He also pet the dogs and the horses, this is very surprising as Brady has been such a chicken around animals, but hopefully he has finally outgrown it!

Brooklyn of course was in heaven riding all by herself and brushing and doing anything at all with the horses.

July

Ok so this is getting just pathetic, and I really need to get my tushy is gear and get some things posted on here. So here is a start....
The middle of July we went down to CO to see some of Chas' family. We had such a great time and the kids LOVED playing with their cousins. They swam most of the day in the ditch across the street from Vovo's house and the rest of the day at riding their bikes in the church parking lot right beside the ditch. Talk about a fun place to visit! Chas built a chicken coop for his Mom and Dad and it is a pretty posh(sp?) chicken coop! He did a great job on it. I just hung out and watched the kids play, it was such a nice break.

One of the nights we went out to Cord and Mandy's cabin in NM, talk about beautiful!! WE loved going out there. Cord takes his cows out there for summer pasture, I told Chas that we might have to go there every spring and help him, it was awesome!

Chas and Beckett loving the fresh air and wide open spaces!

All the cousins who went with us out there

Isn't he the cutest little cowboy you have ever seen?

Here is the cabin and it really is a cabin, no electricity, running water or any conveniences like that. They have a propane water heater so they can shower and propane lanterns. Cord comes up here and works during the week, what a nice getaway!

Here is our other little nephew Casen, he is the happiest little guy and adorable too.

The kids sure loved riding on the 4 wheeler with Vovo. They can ride their ATV's in town! What a treat! So we rode all over!

WE drove down through Utah and got to see some of our good friends from our school days in Provo, it was soooo wonder ful to see them again. WE had a great time catching up and enjoying each others company. Thanks everyone for coming! (We are coming down again in Nov for my sisters wedding so we will have to get together again!)

4 wheeling

Last weekend we went 4-wheeling out to Mormon basin, this is our 2nd time out there and it was so beautiful this time. The wildflowers were amazing and just everywhere! Brooklyn spent the weekend with Trina, Vovo and Pops over in Eugene for Riley's baptism, she had a lot of fun. Thanks for taking her with you! So we went without her.... although we did miss her!
Beckett loved the 4 wheeler and slept the whole time we were riding, we did turn him facing out for a little ways and he did love looking around,(we were going very slow!) He did great! And all Emree could say was go faster Mom!

All of my handsome boys!

So happy! Here he is after the ride

And here is Brooklyn with her little pose. Beckett really likes listening to her read and will lay beside her for awhile and listen to her stories.

This is the main project Chas has been working on, getting these old ugly garage doors out and framing and putting a new one in. It looks so nice! Now just to get the siding done.....

I love this picture of Emree, her hair is getting so long and I love the braids. Jolly Jumper time, love that he can hold his head up and jump
Chas has been working on a ton of projects abd this is one of them. An awesome food storage room that I don' t know what I did without! Now everything actually has a place and is not stacked in the garage!

Here is Beckett hanging out in the camping chair

Brooklyn or Emree?

Brooklyn or Emree?
Just thought you all might like to see how much Brooklyn and Emree look alike, its kind of scary actually! Especially that Emree wears all the clothes that Brooklyn used to wear, I better make sure I get the right name to the right picture in the scrapbooks...well photo albums anyway. This is Brooklyn when she was 10 months old!

First day of School!

My Pride and Joy!

My Pride and Joy!
Next to my kids this is my pride and joy, I love working in the garden! Chas likes it too, he doesn't have to weed! Actually he always takes care of the kids while I spend time there. It's so nice!

Funny Story 1

Well I haveto share this funny story about Brooklyn. There is a little girl in our primary who got her appendix out shortly after she was baptized and showed Brooklyn her scar, so here is Brooklyn's conversation with me the other day. Brooklyn: "Mom I don't think I want to get baptized." Me: "Why not?" Brook: "It's too scary." And I'm thinking she loves the water, what is the problem? Me: "Whats scary about it?" Brook: "I don't want to go to the hospital and be cut open after I am baptized." I started laughing!!! "You think everyone has to be cut open after they get baptized?" Brook: yes, Jenny did and she even showed me her scar. So I had to explain to her that that was not part of getting baptized, it just happened that it was close to the same time with Jenny. I thought it was so hilarious, you never know what your kids are actually thinking!!

What a handsome boy!
