Update on Chas

Chas still has good days and not so good days, but is getting used to it now and so his outlook seems much better. They've had him on a heart monitor that he wears 24/7 cause his heart has been doing crazy things. That has given us both peace of mind, not having to worry if we have to go to the ER, as it is always monitored and then sent to his DR. in Boise, technology is sooo wonderful! They have him on a high blood pressure med. to try and calm his heart and vessels in his head down, hopefully that will help. I think he is doing better everyday which is so nice! He is finally getting back to his normal self.
Me, well I just can't wait for spring! I have decided that I only love winter if there is snow on the ground, if there isn't then it might as well warm up and be nice out!! Enough of the cold, raining dreary days. I know is only January, maybe some new snow would cheer me up?! AT least we could go out and play in it. ALthough the kids were able to go out and jump on the trampoline today, yay!! We are going to the church tonight to play ball with some friends, I thought that would be a fun, cabin-fever-beating activity. We signed the kids up for baseball a couple of week ago so we can't wait to get our gloves out and start getting ready for a new season, (don't worry we have SOFTballs.) Should be fun, it might have to be a new Friday evening activity. I remember going to the church with my Dad on SAturday mornings to play basketball, it's kind of exciting that my kids are getting to that age, although kind of sad as well.
CHas kindly brought up the other day that Brooklyn has already spent half of her time with us as she will be 18 in nine more years, thanks honey!! I hope the next nine don't go as fast as the first nine, but I think that may be wishful thinking!
Have a great friday night!

It is wishful thinking. Those little girls are growing too fast. I can't stand it--half raised. New adventures every day. And I am terrified of the next 9 years.

I can't believe everything that is going on with Chas. It's so frustrating when you don't feel well. But it sounds like things are getting better!! We're thinking about you and you're in our prayers! We love you guys.

Brooklyn or Emree?

Brooklyn or Emree?
Just thought you all might like to see how much Brooklyn and Emree look alike, its kind of scary actually! Especially that Emree wears all the clothes that Brooklyn used to wear, I better make sure I get the right name to the right picture in the scrapbooks...well photo albums anyway. This is Brooklyn when she was 10 months old!

My Pride and Joy!

My Pride and Joy!
Next to my kids this is my pride and joy, I love working in the garden! Chas likes it too, he doesn't have to weed! Actually he always takes care of the kids while I spend time there. It's so nice!

Funny Story 1

Well I haveto share this funny story about Brooklyn. There is a little girl in our primary who got her appendix out shortly after she was baptized and showed Brooklyn her scar, so here is Brooklyn's conversation with me the other day. Brooklyn: "Mom I don't think I want to get baptized." Me: "Why not?" Brook: "It's too scary." And I'm thinking she loves the water, what is the problem? Me: "Whats scary about it?" Brook: "I don't want to go to the hospital and be cut open after I am baptized." I started laughing!!! "You think everyone has to be cut open after they get baptized?" Brook: yes, Jenny did and she even showed me her scar. So I had to explain to her that that was not part of getting baptized, it just happened that it was close to the same time with Jenny. I thought it was so hilarious, you never know what your kids are actually thinking!!
