Blessed

I am feeling so blessed today and have been lately for all the Lord has given us. Chas and I were able to go to the temple yesterday and it was a great day. I love Elder Bednar's talk a few years ago that talks about the Lord's tender mercies. I now think of all the little things that happen each day and can remember them with the title of a tender mercy which makes them easier to remember. As we drove to the temple yesterday, the roads were pretty slick, we left early, 7:15 and were planning on getting in the 9:30 session. I called on Thursday to make an appt. they said the session was full, but to come anyway and we could do other work if it ended up being too full. With the roads being bad we were wondering if we would even get there on time, but we pulled in about 9:05, went in, changed and after a lot of shuffling around were actually able to get in the session. The really cool thing about it is that they changed the session to a spanish session as a hispanic man was going for the first time. Chas was able to go through the session in spanish which was pretty cool for him. I always love watching Chas interact with hispanic people you can tell he has a special place in his heart for them.
We are also feeling so blessed as we accepted an offer on our house. The odds of only one person looking and then making an offer seem way too preposterous, but we know how much our Heavenly Father's hand is in our lives and if it is the right thing He will step in and make miraculous things happen. We are just so happy that this goal of ours to move out of town may soon be coming a reality. This scripture describes how I feel: "..and prove me now herewith saith the Lord.., if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing , that there shall not be room enough to receive it." Truly, He is a loving Father.

It is so very exciting to truly understand the blessings and joy of the Temple. I remember when you would go and I could only imagine. I am hoping Russ and I can go with you guys sometime. I'm so happy that you guys made it safely, are getting to sell you house, move out of town and welcome another little Hutchins! The Lord is good!!

It is great that you got an offer on the house. We will pray everything goes smoothly....
The Lord is truly mindful of the everything, it is such a great feeling knowing that he is in charge and you don't have to worry. Hopefully we can be closer to you and help you move in August. Love you guys.

Brooklyn or Emree?

Brooklyn or Emree?
Just thought you all might like to see how much Brooklyn and Emree look alike, its kind of scary actually! Especially that Emree wears all the clothes that Brooklyn used to wear, I better make sure I get the right name to the right picture in the scrapbooks...well photo albums anyway. This is Brooklyn when she was 10 months old!

My Pride and Joy!
Next to my kids this is my pride and joy, I love working in the garden! Chas likes it too, he doesn't have to weed! Actually he always takes care of the kids while I spend time there. It's so nice!

Funny Story 1

Well I haveto share this funny story about Brooklyn. There is a little girl in our primary who got her appendix out shortly after she was baptized and showed Brooklyn her scar, so here is Brooklyn's conversation with me the other day. Brooklyn: "Mom I don't think I want to get baptized." Me: "Why not?" Brook: "It's too scary." And I'm thinking she loves the water, what is the problem? Me: "Whats scary about it?" Brook: "I don't want to go to the hospital and be cut open after I am baptized." I started laughing!!! "You think everyone has to be cut open after they get baptized?" Brook: yes, Jenny did and she even showed me her scar. So I had to explain to her that that was not part of getting baptized, it just happened that it was close to the same time with Jenny. I thought it was so hilarious, you never know what your kids are actually thinking!!
