We had some friends over the other day and he was explaining to us what he wanted to teach one of his high school science classes. He was telling us all about fish, and rivers, and spawning, and fishing, sutff that honestly is quite boring to me. But he was so excited that it actually got me interested! He was so passionate about it, it got me thinking? What am I passionate about? It has bothered me, really, because I can't think of something that I really LOVE to do. I love my kids and the gospel, but he was just so fired up and excited about what he was talking about, that it made me long for something like that. So I am on a journey to find out what that is. I am tired of living every day just by keeping up with the house etc.. I am determined to do my best at everything that I do, now that's not everything, just everything that I have to do! And in the process find something that I LOVE to do. I have been wanting to try my hand at making a bench for the living room, so that is where I am going to start, I may love it, I may hate it, but dang it I am going to try!

Brooklyn or Emree?
Just thought you all might like to see how much Brooklyn and Emree look alike, its kind of scary actually! Especially that Emree wears all the clothes that Brooklyn used to wear, I better make sure I get the right name to the right picture in the scrapbooks...well photo albums anyway. This is Brooklyn when she was 10 months old!

Next to my kids this is my pride and joy, I love working in the garden! Chas likes it too, he doesn't have to weed! Actually he always takes care of the kids while I spend time there. It's so nice!

Good question Teija! I always wonder the same thing. Thomas loves guns, and xrays and bones and hiking and stuff like that and he's passionate about it, can talk about it all the time and gets excited about it, and i'm like.... so boring. I also wish I had something that I was passionate about and that gave me something to work on so I can improve myself and have something outside of the mom/wife role. I want to get into furniture re-do's or photography would be awesome.
