pumkin patch

Here are some pictures we took at the pumkin patch last weekend, I know a little late, but oh well. I am sure I will post some more later of our Halloween party tonight, but thought I better get these up. Dad and Emree on the hayride, she was so tired....

Typical look of Brooklyn " Excuse me!"

brady looking for Brooklyn we got there way early and no one else was there so we played hide and seek in the maze for an hour, it was tons of fun!

3 amigos!

Love this picture of Brady

My favorite of the day! She held her hat like this all day cause it was so windy, thought this was so cute.

couple more

Brady most often falls asleep in the hallway, weird I know, but whatever! Ok here is a question for ya, this is the first quilt I ever made and Brady's favorite. It has seen better days obviously, but I just can't throw it away, but what can I do with it? Any ideas.
This is what happens when you try to warm up a little too close to the fire!
Kids making funny faces, I love Emree's so funny!

pictures

Here are some random pictures of the kids. I love sunday mornings when they are all dressed up and ready for church, they just look so darn cute. I just wish I could take better pictures of them! We had a fast and furious trip to Boise last weekend to go to the temple and ran into some old friends from Provo. It's crazy how small the world is when you are a member of the church. It was fun to see them and catch up on life. Hte temple is such a calming influence in a very CRAZY world. We have been busy trying to get everything ready for winter and are almost finished all of our outside projects (for this year anyway) yeah! Now we can start the inside ones!!

I love this picture of Brady, he just look so handsome in his suit coat. He is very particular about what he wears and we can only get him to wear this because it looks like Dads. I have a couple of cute vests from Trina and he won't even put them on! I thought girls were bad!

I got this ADORABLE! sweater for Emree at a second hand store here in town. Sometimes they have the greatest things, it was only $6.99 and I couldn't resist!! Perfect for cold sunday mornings!
Brady is such a good brother, he is always taking care of Emree and giving her hugs and kisses.
Here is one of all of them, not sure what they are looking at, but I ahad to stick one of Brookie in here too.
This picture has a funny story... Chas went in to say goodnight to Brookie and found her laying like this, so I told him to go and take some pictures of her. Well after he was all done taking the pictures she started laughing and yelled "Gotcha Dad!" What a faker! SHe is always doing funny things like that. We were totally fooled!

You think money grows on trees?

Remember when your Mom and Dad used to say that to you? Well my Dad was a logger so it was kind of true I guess, but wouldn't it be nice if there was a money tree in the back yard. Lately I feel like we've been spending it like there was. Saturday we had to buy a new dishwasher, after we had already ordered some new windows for the kids room and then we were going to order a new garage door. Well I finally convinced Chas to wait on the garage door, they are not cheap! Christmas is coming up, plus two birthdays and going to Spokane for Thanksgiving, I would rather wait for another bonus or something to pay for it and not have to dip into our checking account, and dipping into our savings is a big NO NO! Anyway it would be so nice to have a garage door (that actually opens) before it gets too cold, but at least the kids will have new windows and will not have a cold breeze lulling them to sleep at night! EVentually we will get all of the updates around the house done, until then it is a little at a time, which is better than never!

Kids & Toilets

OK so what is with kids throwing things down the toilet!!!??? My two older ones have never had the infatution that Emree seems to have with the toilet, playing in it, drinking out of it, (Tell me about it!!! IT's sick!!!!) and of course throwing things down it. After like a week of trying to get whatever was stuck in the toilet out, we came up shorthanded and so went and bought a new toilet. Chas hammered away and broke the other one trying to see what the problem was. And lo and behold it was just a measly little apple. Yes an apple!!! You would think it wouldn't come out with all the snaking and fidgeting in there we did, but to no avail! Oh well I guess at least we now have a new toilet!!! So nice and clean! Oh the joys of parenthood!

Brooklyn or Emree?

Brooklyn or Emree?
Just thought you all might like to see how much Brooklyn and Emree look alike, its kind of scary actually! Especially that Emree wears all the clothes that Brooklyn used to wear, I better make sure I get the right name to the right picture in the scrapbooks...well photo albums anyway. This is Brooklyn when she was 10 months old!

My Pride and Joy!

My Pride and Joy!
Next to my kids this is my pride and joy, I love working in the garden! Chas likes it too, he doesn't have to weed! Actually he always takes care of the kids while I spend time there. It's so nice!

Funny Story 1

Well I haveto share this funny story about Brooklyn. There is a little girl in our primary who got her appendix out shortly after she was baptized and showed Brooklyn her scar, so here is Brooklyn's conversation with me the other day. Brooklyn: "Mom I don't think I want to get baptized." Me: "Why not?" Brook: "It's too scary." And I'm thinking she loves the water, what is the problem? Me: "Whats scary about it?" Brook: "I don't want to go to the hospital and be cut open after I am baptized." I started laughing!!! "You think everyone has to be cut open after they get baptized?" Brook: yes, Jenny did and she even showed me her scar. So I had to explain to her that that was not part of getting baptized, it just happened that it was close to the same time with Jenny. I thought it was so hilarious, you never know what your kids are actually thinking!!

What a handsome boy!
