Kids & Toilets
OK so what is with kids throwing things down the toilet!!!??? My two older ones have never had the infatution that Emree seems to have with the toilet, playing in it, drinking out of it, (Tell me about it!!! IT's sick!!!!) and of course throwing things down it. After like a week of trying to get whatever was stuck in the toilet out, we came up shorthanded and so went and bought a new toilet. Chas hammered away and broke the other one trying to see what the problem was. And lo and behold it was just a measly little apple. Yes an apple!!! You would think it wouldn't come out with all the snaking and fidgeting in there we did, but to no avail! Oh well I guess at least we now have a new toilet!!! So nice and clean! Oh the joys of parenthood!

Brooklyn or Emree?
Just thought you all might like to see how much Brooklyn and Emree look alike, its kind of scary actually! Especially that Emree wears all the clothes that Brooklyn used to wear, I better make sure I get the right name to the right picture in the scrapbooks...well photo albums anyway. This is Brooklyn when she was 10 months old!
First day of School!
My Pride and Joy!
Next to my kids this is my pride and joy, I love working in the garden! Chas likes it too, he doesn't have to weed! Actually he always takes care of the kids while I spend time there. It's so nice!
Funny Story 1
Well I haveto share this funny story about Brooklyn. There is a little girl in our primary who got her appendix out shortly after she was baptized and showed Brooklyn her scar, so here is Brooklyn's conversation with me the other day.
Brooklyn: "Mom I don't think I want to get baptized."
Me: "Why not?"
Brook: "It's too scary."
And I'm thinking she loves the water, what is the problem?
Me: "Whats scary about it?"
Brook: "I don't want to go to the hospital and be cut open after I am baptized."
I started laughing!!! "You think everyone has to be cut open after they get baptized?"
Brook: yes, Jenny did and she even showed me her scar.
So I had to explain to her that that was not part of getting baptized, it just happened that it was close to the same time with Jenny. I thought it was so hilarious, you never know what your kids are actually thinking!!
What a handsome boy!
Achoo!
Emree right before a sneeze~
Something"s funny!

Oh no, the blockage was an apple!! I'm so sorry, I've never had kids that put stuff in the toilet yet
(knock on wood).
How nice that you got a new toilet out of it though, enjoy the new shiny throne..
:)Rachel
Oh my goodness!!! I am laughing out loud!!! But only because that happened at Jana's house last week. It was an apple!!! We aren't sure if the culprit was my kid or Kara's but wow, two in one week. Otherwise, that's not funny at all :)
♥ We have had SOOO many items flushed down the toilet! Bars of soap, plastic container, toys... you name it and it's probably been flushed at our house! We haven't had any "issues" for the past 5 months or so!!! And I REALLY hope it stays that way!
This is a great story. Lucky for me, John only wants to wash the toilet and lounge on it instead of going to bed.
Your new layout is really cute!! Love IT! Brenna threw her sippy cup in the toilet the other day--glad I caught it before she tried to keep drinking--AGGG.
That is the funniest thing I have heard in awhile...she drinks out of the toilet?! that is funny! My boys did that stuff all the time but we never had to buy a new toilet....kids are fun!
An Apple?! oh, that's funny, though I bet it wasn't at the time.
I hope GInger doesn't go through that stage.
