check!!!

Well two things on my list are checked off! YEAH! Thanks to my wonderful husband and his handy-ness (is that a word?) we have finished Brady's closet and it looks wonderful! The drawers were made out of an old big dresser that was in my room, (brown and nasty) he cut them down to size and I painted them. Amazing what a coat of paint and some new hardware will do! Now I just need to get all the baby clothes found (I hope you have most of them Trina!) and then stick them on the shelves and VOILA, we will be organized! Well as much as I can be. And here are a couple of pictures of the curtains in the living room that I finished up as well. I found some cute material for curtains for Brady's room so that is my project this week. Anyway there's our update... oh and for the baby update 3 weeks left, he has dropped and I am at 1 cm, like that means anything, but hey there's always hope for one coming early right! (Ya RIGHT!)

Good work Teija. That's a lot of work to be undertaking at almost 9 months pregnant! And congrats on the 1 cm. I know it doesn't really mean much but it DOES mean that you're one centimeter closer to 10. Only 9 more to go! WHOOOPEEEEE!!!

YEA Pictures! The closet looks amazing. You guys should go on T.V. or something with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. You guys are just as good as Ty! You will come in handy when we get a house someday....someday. That day will come. Someday.

I love a good, organized closet! Looks great guys! You are so productive when your nesting! The name thing from a few posts ago happened to me with David (my fourth). I was pretty set on it and by the time he came, there was nothing else to call him. Plus, he is the fourth boy so we're kind of running out of names we all agree on. Can't wait to hear the news that your baby has arrived!

Brooklyn or Emree?

Brooklyn or Emree?
Just thought you all might like to see how much Brooklyn and Emree look alike, its kind of scary actually! Especially that Emree wears all the clothes that Brooklyn used to wear, I better make sure I get the right name to the right picture in the scrapbooks...well photo albums anyway. This is Brooklyn when she was 10 months old!

My Pride and Joy!

My Pride and Joy!
Next to my kids this is my pride and joy, I love working in the garden! Chas likes it too, he doesn't have to weed! Actually he always takes care of the kids while I spend time there. It's so nice!

Funny Story 1

Well I haveto share this funny story about Brooklyn. There is a little girl in our primary who got her appendix out shortly after she was baptized and showed Brooklyn her scar, so here is Brooklyn's conversation with me the other day. Brooklyn: "Mom I don't think I want to get baptized." Me: "Why not?" Brook: "It's too scary." And I'm thinking she loves the water, what is the problem? Me: "Whats scary about it?" Brook: "I don't want to go to the hospital and be cut open after I am baptized." I started laughing!!! "You think everyone has to be cut open after they get baptized?" Brook: yes, Jenny did and she even showed me her scar. So I had to explain to her that that was not part of getting baptized, it just happened that it was close to the same time with Jenny. I thought it was so hilarious, you never know what your kids are actually thinking!!
