Sacramento

This past week we went down to SAcramento for Chas to take his engineering test. Ya, long ways to take a test, but it was nice that his sister lives like 20 minutes from the testing site. So we all decided to go and had such a fun time! We have missed Steve and Lisa and boys so much. We lived by them for 6 years and it was so fun to catch up. Ethan and Brooklyn were inseparable the whole time we were there and Brooklyn broke down and cried when we left. Thanks Lisa for a fun time!

Of course we had to play the Wii which Brady LOVED and so did Chas

All of Lisa's boys were so good with Beckett and someone was always wanting to hold him, it was nice!

We went to the Jelly Belly factory! It was pretty cool, the kids had a great time! Talk about a lot of candy

Kyle and Brady
And these are pictures we took while travelling. Beckett did so good and slept most of the time while we drove! so nicE!

The other kids did great too, here they are making funny faces!

And of course the lifesaver!!! A portable DVD player. Although we did really enjoy listening to some books on tape as well. FUN TIMES!

Oh Teija, so close, yet so far away. We lived 40 min south of the Jelly Belly Factory. I can't believe you were in Sacramento, and you saw the Redwoods!!! If only we had been there too.

How did I not even have a clue that you went on this trip? Aaron and I obviously need to work on our communication skills...or I just need to talk to YOU more! Looks like you guys had a blast! So jealous! We talked about doing a coast drive down to LA this summer but with the reunion and my parents leaving, it left us with no more vacate time. Oh well. Maybe next year!

Brooklyn or Emree?

Brooklyn or Emree?
Just thought you all might like to see how much Brooklyn and Emree look alike, its kind of scary actually! Especially that Emree wears all the clothes that Brooklyn used to wear, I better make sure I get the right name to the right picture in the scrapbooks...well photo albums anyway. This is Brooklyn when she was 10 months old!

My Pride and Joy!

My Pride and Joy!
Next to my kids this is my pride and joy, I love working in the garden! Chas likes it too, he doesn't have to weed! Actually he always takes care of the kids while I spend time there. It's so nice!

Funny Story 1

Well I haveto share this funny story about Brooklyn. There is a little girl in our primary who got her appendix out shortly after she was baptized and showed Brooklyn her scar, so here is Brooklyn's conversation with me the other day. Brooklyn: "Mom I don't think I want to get baptized." Me: "Why not?" Brook: "It's too scary." And I'm thinking she loves the water, what is the problem? Me: "Whats scary about it?" Brook: "I don't want to go to the hospital and be cut open after I am baptized." I started laughing!!! "You think everyone has to be cut open after they get baptized?" Brook: yes, Jenny did and she even showed me her scar. So I had to explain to her that that was not part of getting baptized, it just happened that it was close to the same time with Jenny. I thought it was so hilarious, you never know what your kids are actually thinking!!
