The kids are back in school, Brady is excited, Brooklyn is missing sleeping in. Emree is liking watching her cartoons while I am in the shower and Beckett is missing his Dad. He may turn into a Daddy's boy yet! For the past couple of days he is actually napping and that has been so nice. He still HATES to fall asleep on his own, so instead of him crying for 45 min. I take 3 min, lay with him and snuggle and voila! sounds asleep, it has been so nice.
I have started to work out again and I love feeling like I am getting back into shape. I took all my measurements and weight and all that "fun" stuff on Monday, now I will have a tangible way to track my progress, not just by how I feel, which is good too. But I need some serious motivation, so hopefully I will keep on the exercise, eat healthy track I have started. I am excited to see results and its been long enough since I have been back to my pre- pregnancy weight, so here I go!

Brooklyn or Emree?

Just thought you all might like to see how much Brooklyn and Emree look alike, its kind of scary actually! Especially that Emree wears all the clothes that Brooklyn used to wear, I better make sure I get the right name to the right picture in the scrapbooks...well photo albums anyway. This is Brooklyn when she was 10 months old!
First day of School!

My Pride and Joy!

Next to my kids this is my pride and joy, I love working in the garden! Chas likes it too, he doesn't have to weed! Actually he always takes care of the kids while I spend time there. It's so nice!
Funny Story 1
Well I haveto share this funny story about Brooklyn. There is a little girl in our primary who got her appendix out shortly after she was baptized and showed Brooklyn her scar, so here is Brooklyn's conversation with me the other day.
Brooklyn: "Mom I don't think I want to get baptized."
Me: "Why not?"
Brook: "It's too scary."
And I'm thinking she loves the water, what is the problem?
Me: "Whats scary about it?"
Brook: "I don't want to go to the hospital and be cut open after I am baptized."
I started laughing!!! "You think everyone has to be cut open after they get baptized?"
Brook: yes, Jenny did and she even showed me her scar.
So I had to explain to her that that was not part of getting baptized, it just happened that it was close to the same time with Jenny. I thought it was so hilarious, you never know what your kids are actually thinking!!
What a handsome boy!

Achoo!

Emree right before a sneeze~
Something"s funny!

So what kind of exercise are you doing? We have walked down town twice and I am eating more salads and yogurts. I got two dance videos I haven't even looked at.
I miss the days of running to BYU campus and back. Losing those pregnancy pounds is soooo hard!
I started this pregnancy the same weight I was when I delivered Dallin!!!! I don't even want to think about where I'll be when I deliver this baby.
Here's wishing you lots and lots of luck!!! I'm working my way down too, but I have a lot further to go :) We all have to start somewhere, right?
Hey that's nice that it only takes 3 minutes and that he stays asleep after you leave.
good luck with the new healthy get back into shape plan.
do you still like your bike or are you going to the gym?
I'm feeling pretty down about my healthyness. Doctor told me I maxed out on my weight gain and this is the time I crave bad food and I still have 8 weeks to go! I gained 10 pounds in four weeks and hope i can put a stop to it or at least slow it down some. i'm looking forward to the recovery/get back into shape stage.
oh, one more thing..last time I saw you, I thought you already lost your baby weight. you looked really good. You must not have that much more to go then.
Hi!
It is so fun to catch up on what you are up to. Looks like you guys had a great Christmas and by the way I love the number pancake tradition I am totally doing that! Keep in touch. Miss you guys.
