Well since all the holidays are over (boohoo) we are trying to get back into the swing of things. We had a nice surprise yesterday though and got one extra day off of school. It has been so windy school got cancelled because of snow drifts or something like that. So that was nice to have another day before getting back into the routine of things. It has been so windy we haven't ventured outside for a couple of days now and it has been nice to just stay at home. I finally started the quilt I have been meaning to make for Brady for awhile. He stood too close to the fire the other day and now has a few big holes in his old blanket, so I thought I had better get on the ball and get this new one started. Brooklyn was very excited to go back to school today, she misses her friends. I am so glad that two of her best friends are also in her primary class which makes it very nice for play dates and I know she is hanging out with good kids. Anyhow here are some pictures of Christmas, we had such a great time!

Brooklyn or Emree?

Just thought you all might like to see how much Brooklyn and Emree look alike, its kind of scary actually! Especially that Emree wears all the clothes that Brooklyn used to wear, I better make sure I get the right name to the right picture in the scrapbooks...well photo albums anyway. This is Brooklyn when she was 10 months old!
First day of School!

My Pride and Joy!

Next to my kids this is my pride and joy, I love working in the garden! Chas likes it too, he doesn't have to weed! Actually he always takes care of the kids while I spend time there. It's so nice!
Funny Story 1
Well I haveto share this funny story about Brooklyn. There is a little girl in our primary who got her appendix out shortly after she was baptized and showed Brooklyn her scar, so here is Brooklyn's conversation with me the other day.
Brooklyn: "Mom I don't think I want to get baptized."
Me: "Why not?"
Brook: "It's too scary."
And I'm thinking she loves the water, what is the problem?
Me: "Whats scary about it?"
Brook: "I don't want to go to the hospital and be cut open after I am baptized."
I started laughing!!! "You think everyone has to be cut open after they get baptized?"
Brook: yes, Jenny did and she even showed me her scar.
So I had to explain to her that that was not part of getting baptized, it just happened that it was close to the same time with Jenny. I thought it was so hilarious, you never know what your kids are actually thinking!!
What a handsome boy!

Achoo!

Emree right before a sneeze~
Something"s funny!

Glad your back sounds like you had a great Christmas with your family. I'm so happy the kids are back at school. I'm doing the happy dance. And it's too bad that Brinley and Brooklyn are not in the same class in church. She loves her. Oh well thats what I get for having January babies....
:)R
We are glad you are back too! We do need to get together sometime. As for the clocks I sell them and I can make you one any colors you want and whatever saying you would like on it. You should call me about them. They are very nice!
Becky
I thought that was funny that they cancelled school because it was windy but they won't cancel if there is 6 inches of snow. :)
That's funny that Brady has holes burnt in his blanket.ahhahahah
You should post a picture of the quilt when you're done. :)

I remember Brooklyn when she was so little...
