Here's to a beautiful spring day!
So it has been GORGEOUS here! Yesterday we spent 2 hours at the park and today it is already warm enough to go out. Emree is feeling better she is still so needy though. Man its hard not to give in when I know it will make her feel better in like 5 minutes instead of listening to her whine all day. Although Tuesday she actually let me hold her and rock her to sleep, that folks is a miracle! She hasn't ever done that. Other than that most days at her nap time we are conventiently out and about and she falls asleep on the way home. So thing are looking up, or maybe its just the sunshine outside it makes me feel so much better! I got to go to Brooklyns classroom this morning for the first time, I know I know, but when you know your baby will cry the whole time your gone I haven't had the courage to leave her. But I finally decided she's old enough and she can cry for 1 hour while I am gone. So I had the neighbor come over and I went to school, it was a lot of fun! I can't wait to go back next week! Brady crashed on his bike yesterday and got a flat tire, must have been quite the crash. Didn't know 3 year olds could get flat tires. Crazy! Anyway I know I really need to post some pictures, I will try and get some today of Brady riding his bike and us playing at the park!

Brooklyn or Emree?

Just thought you all might like to see how much Brooklyn and Emree look alike, its kind of scary actually! Especially that Emree wears all the clothes that Brooklyn used to wear, I better make sure I get the right name to the right picture in the scrapbooks...well photo albums anyway. This is Brooklyn when she was 10 months old!
First day of School!

My Pride and Joy!

Next to my kids this is my pride and joy, I love working in the garden! Chas likes it too, he doesn't have to weed! Actually he always takes care of the kids while I spend time there. It's so nice!
Funny Story 1
Well I haveto share this funny story about Brooklyn. There is a little girl in our primary who got her appendix out shortly after she was baptized and showed Brooklyn her scar, so here is Brooklyn's conversation with me the other day.
Brooklyn: "Mom I don't think I want to get baptized."
Me: "Why not?"
Brook: "It's too scary."
And I'm thinking she loves the water, what is the problem?
Me: "Whats scary about it?"
Brook: "I don't want to go to the hospital and be cut open after I am baptized."
I started laughing!!! "You think everyone has to be cut open after they get baptized?"
Brook: yes, Jenny did and she even showed me her scar.
So I had to explain to her that that was not part of getting baptized, it just happened that it was close to the same time with Jenny. I thought it was so hilarious, you never know what your kids are actually thinking!!
What a handsome boy!

Achoo!

Emree right before a sneeze~
Something"s funny!

♥ I'm glad that Emree is starting to feel better! Good job sticking with it. I don't know if I could have, well I guess it would depend on how long I'd already been doing it. Sorry to hear Brady crashed, poor guy!
I know the weather is awesome! It does make you feel better when its nice outside. I hate the weening part. My boys were both about 16 months but I was just nursing at night. I would have to change their minds from wanting to nurse. Its hard but it works. I am happy to say that my kids never had bottles or pacifiers. Crazy I know!

I was so needing some sunshine. I don't do long winters well. I should take my kids to the park... One of these days. It's hard working around a sleeping baby...

We're glad Emree's getting better! Bryn's still got the flu and it's lasting FOREVER!!! I'm really starting to appreciate when kids are healthy!
P.S. We're so excited to come to your place for Easter and see the remodeling you've done since we were there last!
